K2 called me tonight and wanted to know how the hell we've been. She said that I had even been slacking here. So I wanted to get a post up to keep you up to date.
It's winter.
It's temperatures that are not old enough to by a beer.
It's wind that just won't stop, and makes your ears hurt.
It's the economy.
It's banks that won't lend money to people who need big wheels with big engines and bigger cranes attached.
It's butch making it through the big lay-offs at Mack, but now being laid off every other week through March.
It's drafter not sure if she'll be drawing any more cranes after Friday.
It's the same boat too many people are in right now.
But.......
Spring is coming.
This time next week, we'll be getting packed up to go to Jupiter, Fla. where it may be cold to them, but it's still damn warm for us, and I can not wait to be sitting by the pool with drink in hand.
Oh, and the best part.......
Aaron's getting married!
